member of his previous crew, Sergeant

H.W.A.Collett as Navigator.

Prior to 101 Squadron moving from No.3 Group

Stradishall to No.1 Group stationed

at Holme-on-Spalding Moor

W.O2 Spinney's Wellington

had crash landed (see here)

The other four members of the newly

formed crew were Sergeants

S.R.Clarke, C.L.Coleman,

J.R.Gould & A.E.Beach

Crews converted to Lancasters on station at Holme and it was on a cross country training mission

that Lancaster W4326 SR-C was lost.
